Day 13 of Prayer & Fasting: Strengthen the New England Church

It's Friday and you've nearly made it two weeks! Take some time today and write down some things you hear God saying to you. Then take a moment and ask Him for something you want to know, you know, that thing you need Him to make clear to you or help you to understand or that thing that's always made you curious.

"Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know." Jeremiah 33:3

DAY 13 CORPORATE PRAYER FOCUS: Strengthen the New England Church and make us shine brightly.

God is on the move in New England and bringing revival to the Christian Church. Let's pray that God would give favor to churches all over New England with people. Let's pray that pastors would be revived. Let's pray that people would feel the call of God to get involved and help carry the load of their local churches. Let's pray that churches would have favor with landlords and building owners so they can gain stability. Let's pray the lost would look for truth and find churches that are ready for them. Let's pray for an increase in church planters to come with fresh passion. Let's pray that churches in New England would guard the truth and not give in to moral relativism. Let's pray that people stay passionate about Jesus Christ as the way, the life and the truth!

As a reminder, we are using the 20-day book study, Soul Food, by Havilah Cunnington of Bethel Church in Redding, CA, to guide our next 20 days, which will spark your own deeper studies with the Bible. This book is the perfect companion to your season of fasting. It looks at the spiritual food that God uses to fill our emotional and spiritual needs. You can order the book on Amazon if you'd like to go a little deeper, but below we will provide you the key thoughts from each day's devotional. There's also a 7-12 minute video that accompanies this study that we highly encourage you to log on and watch. This course is completely free and engaging! You can sign up for the FREE course here.

DAY 12 of Soul Food - Leaving to Become

Bondage doesn't always look like lack. It could be we are sitting at just one table, eating expensive food but actually it's the food of slaves. The enemy would love to keep us bound, limited, dependant, and weak. He may be feeding you just enough to satisfy your daily desires, but his meals are scraps and a counterfeit compared to what God has on offer.

God’s desire is to bring you into a spacious place. He wants to give you a place to belong and a place to become. He says, “ “Come, all you who are thirsty, come to the waters; and you who have no money, come, buy and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without money and without cost… Give ear and come to me; listen, that you may live.”

Your beliefs about who you are affect your ability to get to the spacious place and the table of God. The enemy would love to stop you moving forward and keep you from growing, emerging, becoming.

“The spacious, free life is from God, it’s also protected and safe. God-strengthened, we’re delivered from evil— when we run to him, He saves us.” Psalm 37:39–40

Let's worship God today as the great and mighty God He is! May you experience Him in a way today that you never have before!
