At StoryHeights, we’re out to write a story that will carry on for generations to come. Therefore, we place a high emphasis on the next generation. Whether in junior high or high school, we don’t wait on students to grow up to become the Church. We believe students are the Church, so students lead on the front lines of StoryHeights.
We call our student ministry “The Anomaly,” because we want every student to deviate from the standard, normal or expected definition of a teen. Students who call StoryHeights Church “home” are encouraged to get involved in everything we do. They volunteer and serve at Servolutions. They give their resources and invite their friends and family to our weekend worship experiences. The Anomaly makes God’s House awesome, fun and brings passion everywhere they go. We wouldn’t have it any other way!
Currently, all youth 5th-12th graders join the adults for the worship service, and then meet together during the sermon for their own message with our youth pastors. We also host Anomaly Fun Nights once a month, which are outings together, and twice annual student retreats.
