Our Newton location meets on Sundays at 9:00AM and 10:45AM at at 381 Elliot St, Newton Upper Falls, MA 02464.
You'll experience a very friendly community (that's one of our best features) that is very diverse, filled with both Bostonian natives, transplants and transients. Everyone comes from different spiritual journeys, too. Some people are Catholic or Jewish, while others come from a Protestant background, but there are many people who don't necessarily identify as a "church" or "religious" person at all, and simply enjoy our non-denominational presentation and exploration of faith.
You’ll experience a life-giving (probably funny) sermon, contemporary worship, and friendly people who dress from business casual to super comfy. The whole service lasts less than 90 minutes.
We have free coffee waiting on you! And if you have children, they'll enjoy our amazing kids ministry services that run concurrently with your service. Anomaly, our student ministry, also meets during the 9:00AM service only.
The Newton community meets in our very own building in Newton. There's plenty of parking in the vicinity around the building (you'll want to enter in and out of the lot on Chestnut St.), and it's handicap accessible with ramps located in and out of our service. If you'd like a ride from our shuttle team, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org at least 1 hour before your pickup or fill out the plan your visit form.
If you’re anywhere close to the Greater Boston area, we would love for you to visit us in person.
Pastors David and Allison Nanneman are the lead pastors of our Newton community. They have been married since 2005 and hail from the great state of Texas. After both meeting in Texas, falling in love, and studying at Vanderbilt, they made the move up north. Allison continues to pursue academia while working as a teacher, while David excels in the science and research fields. They have two beautiful daughters and have been actively involved in their local churches for over 10 years before moving to Boston. David and Allison have been with StoryHeights nearly since its beginning, and have a heart to see the community of Newton and greater Boston take their stories to new heights.
Plan Your Visit
If you’ll let us know you’re coming as a guest, our great volunteers will help make your first time at StoryHeights Church an easy experience. We believe church should be a place you look forward to being at and a little bummed when you have to leave, and we do everything we can to make this a reality. We hope you’ll join us soon.
