Our Newton location meets on Sundays at 10:45AM at Biggelow Middle School in Newton, located at 42 Vernon St, Newton, MA 02458.

The Service

You'll experience a very friendly community (that's one of our best features) that is very diverse, filled with both Bostonian natives, transplants and transients. Everyone comes from different spiritual journeys, too. Some people are Catholic or Jewish, while others come from a Protestant background, but there are many people who don't necessarily identify as a "church" or "religious" person at all, and simply enjoy our non-denominational presentation and exploration of faith and of Jesus Christ.

You’ll experience a life-giving (probably funny) sermon, contemporary worship, and friendly people who dress from business casual to super comfy. The whole service lasts less than 90 minutes.

We have free Starbucks coffee and Panera Bread pastries waiting on you! And if you have children, they'll enjoy our amazing kids ministry services that run concurrently with your service.

The Location

The Newton community meets in the auditorium of the Bigelow Middle School in Newton. You'll enjoy our modern use of this historic and vintage setting. There's plenty of parking in the vicinity around the building, and it's handicap accessible with ramps located in and out of our service. If you'd like a ride from our shuttle team, please email us at at least 1 hour before your pickup or fill out the plan your visit form.

If you’re anywhere close to the Greater Boston area, we would love for you to visit us in person. Our church is made up of people who live in all the 23 neighborhoods of Boston (like West Roxbury, Dorchester, South Boston, Mattapan and Charlestown), the bordering towns of Boston (like Newton, Cambridge and Brookline), and even the suburbs close to Boston (Dedham, Needham, Wellesley, Westwood and even Sharon, Dover and Medfield). People make the drive to attend a church that makes them happy! Look for anyone of the StoryHeights volunteer team wearing the easily identifable blue volunteer shirts. They'll help you out and make sure you have a great first experience!

Community Pastors

Pastors Tyler and Crystal Tullos are the founders and lead pastors of StoryHeights Church based in Boston, Massachusetts. They’ve been married since 2003 and are originally from Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Panhandle, Texas. As graduates of Louisiana State University, they love all things LSU Tigers, SEC Football and good food. Both Tyler and Crystal were staff pastors at Healing Place Church for nearly a decade, and were sent out to New England with the support of their pastors and the Association of Related Churches in 2010. They have been ordained and licensed in the state of Massachusetts.

Plan Your Visit

If you’ll let us know you’re coming as a guest, our great volunteers will help make your first time at StoryHeights Church an easy experience. We believe God’s House should be a place you look forward to being at and a little bummed when you have to leave, and we do everything we can to make this a reality. We hope you’ll join us soon.
